What SOC 2 Type II Means
SOC 2 is a widely recognized framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A Type II attestation evaluates not only the design of a company’s security controls, but also their operating effectiveness over an extended period of time.
In other words, this isn’t a point-in-time review. It validates that Apparity’s controls are consistently followed and monitored over time.
The audit evaluated our controls related to the Trust Services Criteria, including:
- Security
- Availability
- Confidentiality
