Apparity Active Management
After identifying critical EUCAs, you can place them under a higher level of monitoring with Apparity’s Active Management module. It’s designed to securely manage Excel spreadsheets and Access databases through a series of controls that capture key changes and versioning details. With this module, your most sensitive EUCAs will be secured, constantly monitored, and closely aligned with company policy.
Access Database Management Tool
The advantage of Apparity’s Active Management module rests in its ability to maintain version, access, and change controls in a way that’s easy and beneficial for end users. By design, this Access database management tool will reduce the risk found in managing in critical databases. When an Access database is placed under Apparity’s surveillance, it will detect and record any new changes. There are two types of recorded changes, schema and non-schema. Schema changes are structural in nature and usually include changes to tables and queries. In contrast, non-schema changes tend to be more specific about the data. Several examples include altering data, VBA, modules, reports, and forms. It’s extremely important to manage critical databases with a close eye. Apparity provides you with the perfect tool to do so.
No Separate Add-ons
Apparity’s Access database management solution is web-based, so it doesn’t require an additional add-in. Users can access this feature directly from the Apparity Inventory Management Solution (AIMS). Then they will be able to register, onboard, manage change controls, and keep an accurate inventory on all Access databases within their organization.
